Nine Masses will be offered.

May the Holy Virgin Mary intercede for our mothers and bring them before her Beloved Son.

Daily Novena Prayers

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for our mothers to whom Thou hast entrusted the care of every precious human life. Grant, we beseech Thee, that every woman may come to understand the full meaning of that blessing.

Watch over every mother who is with child. Give them courage in times of fear, understanding in times of doubt, and hope in times of trouble. Grant her joy in the birth of her child.

We implore Thee to send the Holy Ghost, the Comforter, to all mothers who sorrow for their children who have died. Help grieving mothers to rely on your tender mercy and fatherly love for all Thy children.

We ask Thy blessing on all those to whom you have entrusted motherhood in the spiritual order, the consecrated women religious, who serve Thee faithful in Thy Holy Church.

May all mothers ever follow the example of Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus, and imitate her fidelity, her humility, and her self-giving love. We ask this through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
